About Sofia
In 2022, Sofia moved internationally from Montreal, Canada to Richmond, VA with her partner. She has a home studio located in the Museum District, equipped with a piano, guitars, a bass, ukulele and two cats named Birdie and Rocket.
Sofia is a professionally trained vocalist who holds a Bachelor of Music and double major in Psychology from McGill University. She grew up dancing and singing throughout the town of Gloucester, MA.
Since the age of 8, she has performed in front of audiences ranging from 5-500+. In high school, she was accepted into the All-State Choir and performed at Boston Symphony Hall. She released her first EP, Songs I Wrote on the River, in 2018. In 2021, she wrote, performed and produced her own original musical. She has studied with numerous professionals in her field who have taught her the inner workings of jazz, musical theater, pop, songwriting and performance.
